How to Make a Turtle from a Watermellon

If you want to add an artistic flare to your next fruit salad, try out these watermellon turtle instructions.  It's one of the most adorable food creations I've ever seen.  I would like to thank my friend kez for telling me about it!  And hopefully, if you read this, decide to try to make a watermellon turtle and fail at your first attempt carving...

Hopefully there will be some tortoises around to eat the leftovers!

If you want to draw this turtle but feel intimidated, just move at turtle speed and pause the video after each step or two so you can take as much time as you want to copy it.

I decided to continue the turtle shaped food theme at least one You Tube Tuesday post longer... just in case someone besides me hopes to have a themed party one day with lots of silly turtle shaped food.  Of course, if you eat a simple, low-carb diet, you can have a turtle burger any day you want!  Why wait for a party?!
