Turtle Found After 47 Years!

What I want to say about this article is please, PLEASE, DO NOT carve anything in your turtle's shell.  They can feel it and their shells are not a piece of whittleing wood.

Land Tortoise Lover Turns Island Into National Park

Pokey and I have a new hero.  Brendon Grimshaw bought and island in the 1960's and spent his life planting native plants and breeding turtles.  His island, Moyenne, just became the smallest national park in the world.  Bravo Brendan!  BRAVO!!!

Justice was served to one turtle smuggler recently. Pokey and I did a happy dance when we heard. We are so glad Operation Flying Turtle was a success!
