  1. I just can't say nothing about this photo, so I'm "hiding" the background story here. This little guy was for sale for $10 despite having no head... and the lady selling him almost took him back to keep for herself after seeing me take his picture. It have me a good giggle. :)

  2. Oh silly me I thought that was his head but it's his tail. Ah maybe his head is underneath, tucked away?????

  5. Wow! Exquisite piece of jewelry! And I would have never even realized that there was no head without you saying something. I just assumed the artist was being creative LOL.

  7. Head? Who needs a head? Heads are over-rated. A turtle without a head would still be beautiful, as your photo confirms.

  16. So you are saying that you are so turtle crazy that you will even by a headless one?? There has to be something about that that will put the zombies on your doorstep first! =)

I do love the color of the stone though! xo

  19. Oh this is a very particular turtle then. I've only heard of the headless horseman lol... it's the first time I've seen a headless turtle and I love the design it has... I'd take him back too if I caught you taking his picture ;)

    Lovely!

  20. Maybe this turtle came from "The Island of Misfit Toys" - no head, and part of a foot missing, but still so beautiful and loveable!
    Sweet photo, Rachel!
    Blessings!

  21. My daughter would love this! She loves turtles and turquoise. I love flea markets and tag sales. Even if it's just to go and look. You never know the small treasures you'll find :)

  22. Didn't even notice that there was no head as I was too busy admiring the turquoise. Sounds like you got quite a deal
